I'll stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former twice unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
